Here's some fun facts about the family!

Dr. Dave and Dr. Kathy are natives of Minnesota. Dr. Kathy was born in Ely and Dr. Dave was born in Staples.

They moved to Colorado in 1979 and were married that year.

They have four children, Corwin, Kendric, Katryna and Garion.

Corwin graduated from UCLA School of Theatre, Film and Television with a Masters in Sound Design and lives in Los Angeles.

He currently works for Center Theatre Group as a front-of-house Concierge at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.

Kendric graduated from Western State College in Gunnison in May 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and a Philosophy minor.

Katryna is continuing her journey in Germany, training horses, where she received her German Trainer's C license in 2006.

Her first visit to Germany was when she was thirteen years old and attended the riding school in Vechta where she received her 'small bronze' medal. In the winter of 2004, she started her experience at Stall Ramsbrock in Menslage with a three month stay. In 2005, she was joined by Garion when he received his 'Big Bronze' and she received her 'Silver' performance Medal.

Garion is attending Rasmussen College, majoring in Accounting. He is also an assistant martial arts instructor.

Dr. Dave, Kendric, Garion and Corwin are members of the Renaissance Scots Living History Association.
